Falling for Her Curves Page 3
“Holy fuck, you feel so good,” I whisper in her ear. “I don’t want this to ever stop. I want you again and again and again.”
She sits back so I can see her--all of her. I trace a finger across her cheek and down the curvature of her beautiful, voluptuous body.
“You’re so damn gorgeous,” I say looking deep into her eyes. “I know we just met, but I can’t help but feel like…”
I stop. I’m afraid I’ll scare her. This is the first time in a long time I’ve felt this happy--I just don’t want this to end.
“I know,” she says and kisses me deeply. As we kiss, she grinds into me harder and harder. I clutch onto her hair and breathe in her scent. I want to drown in it. An exhilaration comes over me like the first time I ever jumped out of a plane. Being entwined with her feels like I’m floating through the air. We shove into each other faster and harder until I feel like I can’t wait any longer. She starts to grab at my shoulders, scraping her nails into my back. Her moans become louder until she lets out a final groan and the tightness of her finishing around my cock makes me cum so hard, I have to grab onto her for support.
I yell out her name as I explode into her. After a few seconds, I calm my breathing, we stay together like this for what seems like hours. I never want to let her go.
EPILOGUE
Ava
It’s been two days since he kissed me goodbye. Two days since he had his strong body wrapped around me so tightly. Two days since I felt that feeling for the first time in forever. And two days since I told him...I just couldn’t do it. Two days since I ended it before it even began.
The second I said the words to him, I could see the defeat in his eyes. He tried to explain the feelings he had for me--he said he had never felt them before, and to be honest, I hadn’t either. But, he’s just...he’s so damn young. If I let this happen, I feel like I would be taking away a huge part of his life from him. He’s only in his twenties. Your twenties are a time to be so young and free. I never got that chance to live with such freedom, so I don’t want to take that away from him.
So, I let him go. I had to.
“You sure you don’t want to come, mom?” Blaire says to me, holding a silver sequined mask out to me. She is dressed to the nines in a beautiful green gown and matching masquerade mask. Logan walks up behind her wearing a suit and a mask. He is dashing and looking at the two of them together--they just fit. They look good together. They look right...Lip and I would never be that couple. I’d always be self-conscience knowing I’m so much older.
“No,” I say the words out loud to Blaire, but I think I’m actually telling them to myself. “Thank you, but I think I’ll just ring in the New Year on the couch with a bottle of wine.”
“Ava,” Logan says slowly. “Lip told us about what happened between you two.”
My cheeks immediately flush. I look over at Blaire afraid she will be scowling, but...she's not. She's smiling.
“Well, he didn’t tell us everything,” Logan chuckles. “But, he did tell me you spent an incredible few hours with each other...he said he’s never felt a stronger connection to anyone...ever.”
“And you just broke it off?” Blaire asks. “Mom...do you like him?”
My mouth opens, but I’m not sure how to answer.
“Blaire,” I say quietly. “He’s just...so young. It could never work. I mean, Blaire, he’s your age.”
“So what? If he makes you happy, that shoud'n't matter. And, mom, that’s not what I asked you,” she clarifies. “I asked if you like him.”
I drop my head and frown. I think of his face, his kiss...and my heart sinks.
“Well,” she says. “I’m going to leave this here for you in case you change your mind. And mom, I really hope you do. You deserve happiness, and if he is what brings that smile to your face, you need to run to him and never let him go.”
She leaves the mask next to me on the side table.
“Have a good time, “ I say. She frowns before giving me a hug and then they start to walk out the door. Just as they are leaving, she turns and adds again, “Mom, if he makes you happy, that’s all that really matters.”
Lip
I don’t know why I let Logan convince me to go to this thing. I haven’t gotten off my couch in two days. After I had her--and I had every piece of her--I felt like I had it all. I truly felt real happiness. And just as quickly as it came, I let it slip out of my hands. She crushed me. I tried to explain to her that if she let me, I would prove to her that she is all I want and that I don’t care about our age difference. But, she just couldn’t let the age thing go. She couldn’t get past it.
I’m now standing in the corner of this New Year's Ball watching all these couples coming together on the dance floor as the DJ announces it’s almost time to countdown to midnight.
And then...I see her.
A woman steps out from the crowd that has gathering on the dance floor and walks over toward me. She’s wearing a silver-sequined gown that clings to her hips like a magnet. She wears a matching masquerade mask concealing her face, but I could recognize those eyes behind the mask from anywhere.
My heart races to life.
She steps toward me, grabbing my hand.
“What are you doing here?” I ask loudly over the noise and excitement in the room. “I thought you said--”
“Forget what I said,” Ava says and lifts my mask gently off of my face. I do the same to hers. “I don’t care what I said. Do we make sense on paper? No. Do I have reservations about this? Sure, I do, but how will I ever know if I don’t give it a try? Am I the happiest I have ever been when I’m in your arms?”
She gives me a huge smile.
“Are you?” I ask, a smile also forming on my face.
“Hell yes.”
With that, I take her in my arms and brush the hair back from her face. “Okay, so now let me ask you a question.”
“What’s that, Lip?” she says, moving in closer.
I lean in and whisper into her ear, “Are you ready to fall, Ava?”
She pulls back and I cup her face in my hands, counting down the seconds until I can kiss her again.
Five...four...three...two...
